Frequently asked questions

Can I leave the first page without a number?

Yes. Tick 'No number on the first page'. Numbering then begins on the second page.

Can numbering start at a number other than 1?

Yes. Set 'Start counting at' to the number you need, for example when the PDF is one chapter of a longer document.

What if my PDF already has page numbers?

The new numbers are added on top of the page. Existing numbers stay, so choose a position that does not overlap them.
